You know our group,has been going there in the fall for the last 10 years, love the special winter getaways, the meals at the restaurant the DJ at night and a Long Island iced tea in the big tall glass, a very enjoyable time. This past Saturday we went down the restaurant, I ordered a medium ribeye steak for dinner I got a thin well done dry steak that had no taste to it, I should have sent it back but I didn't. We went to the bar there's no DJ there no more, to play music, and the tall Long Island iced tea drinks that we love so much, in the big glass. is now a small plastic cup and cost a dollar more. But the rooms looked nice, we don't like the changes you made so we will be looking somewhere else to go, when we head to the beach for a getaway weekend. Great and enjoyable times when it was the Clam Digger.
Great place to eat. The people are so friendly. It's more of a family kind of place. It's a very peaceful & quiet place newly renovated all rooms have showers that you can step into very easily with worrying about falling. The staff does their best to accommodate your every need. All around best place to go.
Oh my word! We had the most wonderful time....loved sitting on the balcony to hear the waves and watch the birds. The shelling was great! I will never forget our time there and Lord willing I will be back next year.
Stayed here with my family over Labor Day weekend. We had a really good time. You can tell the hotel is an older building although it has been remodeled recently but still looks like there are places that need more touching up. The hotel overall is good for the price you pay. Nice pool. Nice onsite restaurant, great for breakfast. The beachfront is very nice, clean and was not crowded at all, I guess due to the fact that the hotel is surrounded by beach houses on both sides instead of other hotels. This hotel makes for a nice cost effective weekend getaway. The staff was nice and helpful.
Everything was very nice. I have been going there since it was called the Clamdigger. The rooms were similar with updated amenities. The showers, while stylish, could be larger along with the general size of the bathroom.
