Overall a great park. Splash pad was great. Would've given five stars, if not for a safety issue that caused my four year old to get I injured. Sliding down the slide directly after getting wet on the splash pad and instead of exiting the slide normally, he shot off of it and landed flat on his back, back of his head hitting first! There was a sufficient amount of wood mulch in the playground area, but there was a large deficit just below the bottom of the slide (at least 8 inches, or more lower than the rest of the playground). His head struck hard. My suggestion is to check the level of mulch daily and rake out the low spot (which would take someone with a garden rake all of two minutes daily) and add a sign at entrance to playground area, signifying the added danger/risk of sliding (or using playground, in general, when wet). We purposely read all rules whenever we see a sign, anywhere we go. We did read the rules prior to using the playground area and there is no such warning anywhere. Otherwise, my review would be 5 stars and I would've been able to say that we had an amazing time.
This park has some of everything! This is the perfect place to spend some time with your family! From skateboarding to Putt Putt Golf, Merry go round to Splash Pad it has something for everyone!!
Very nice little park. There's a skateboard park, putt putt, and a little playground. There's also plenty of parking. You do need a helmet to skate though!
A very nice park. Under construction to add a mini golf and few other things. Would be nice if they had signs posted as to when the splash pad would be operable or concessions would be open. Otherwise a nice park with a few playgrounds, skate park, and tables. The shared area is filled with older trees and provides a good area for lunch or snack before playing on the playground.
We really enjoyed the new park. We played mini golf for $3 a head! We enjoyed the course. None of us skateboard but it looked impressive. We would love something like this in our own home town. Jealous!
