The place doesn't look like much, being a couple of trailers, a fenced-in field with some picnic tables, and that's about it.
7-2016 not disappointed. food ample, delicious and fair priced. employees very nice and friendly. nice outdoor seating area with picnic tables and games. recommend grouper bites or seafood tacos..
If you want a great lunch (relatively) quickly, you should go!
It was a bit cool, being the tail end of their season in November, but that was our fault. The place is comfy-outdoors, like a friend's patio, and the food is fresh and hot. The cauliflower appetizer was wonderful.
7-15-2017 Food and service better than ever. Seafood tacos with grouper and shrimp almost too big to finish!!? Who does that? They do. Outside picnic table and bar eating but still shaded on the hottest of days.

Great place to eat! Lots of food served with every order, good prices and friendly staff! Also a nice cornholin' space for after dinner competitions...
Wonderful fried seafood at great prices!
However, what it lacks in a roof it more than makes up for with the quality (and portion size) of its seafood!
The fried shrimp are great, and the fried fish bites are unique but very good. Lots of sauce options for dipping the fish (and hush puppies) in!
They redeemed my faith in crab cakes! I was tortured as a kid having to eat burnt and hockey-picked "crab cakes" at home. I hadn't tried one in many many years, but decided it was time (and it was a special the day we went). Good food and decent prices. Good place for a family to grab a no frills and relatively inexpensive (compared to all surrounding places) meal. It's all outdoor seating, so be cautious if it's smoldering hot or raining.
10-20-2017. There was a recent article on the best tacos to be found in NC. It was about taco joints but I informed them that their new best just might be your fish taco with grouper bites, hope they're lucky and smart enough to try yours out.
